Green Careers

The Green Careers Training at Human Solutions is a non-profit program in partnership with Worsksystems Inc. and the Oregon Employment Department funded by the US Labor Department.

This vocational program provides FREE training and job placement in Green Occupations to eligible job seekers. If you are interested in Bioscience, Distribution & Logistics, Green Building, Healthcare, Metals Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Software, etc.

WE CAN HELP YOU: •Assess and transfer your current skills & experience into a green career •Access Green Trainings, including funding •Write a functional green resume & a cover letter, to job search and prepare for interviews

GREEN OCUPATIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Green Building and Design, Construction, Sheet Metal Workers, Electricians, Carpenters, Building Inspectors, Energy Consultants, HVAC, Refrigeration or Weatherization Installation & Maintenance Workers, manufacturing workers, Technicians & installers of Energy Efficiency Products (e.g. Solar panels, Wind Turbines, Geothermal equipment, etc), Forestry, Landscaping, Recycling, Sustainable Agriculture, Hazardous Materials Worker, etc.
