ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide clerical support: typing correspondence and other documents; processing incoming correspondence and other written documents; organizing and maintaining files; maintain and coordinate calendars; handling telephone calls; arranging meetings and conferences. - Assists with agency internal and external communications; - Provide clerical support for the Board of Trustees: scheduling, arranging, and preparing materials for meetings of the Board and Executive Committee; taking minutes of Board and Committee meetings; maintaining Board records; acts as a clearing house for communication between Board Members and agency administrative staff; - Work as an effective team member with agency administrative staff in the provision of support services and assistance to members of the Executive Management Team.

Required Skills and Abilities:Operates within established and accepted office procedures and practices, and makes decisions within established guidelines, organizational policy and procedure, federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Position involves a moderate degree of complexity, in that the incumbent must deal often with politically sensitive and confidential information. This position works directly with Members of the Board, also collects and compiles data from many sources. Work is supervised by the CEO/President through observation and weekly meetings. Skills: Computer skills, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and PowerPoint presentations.
