EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) SMART, Oregon’s leading nonprofit early childhood literacy organization, is seeking an Executive Director to deliver SMART’s mission, including increasing the number of children served by SMART throughout the state. The position is a strategic role, focused on fundraising, strategic planning, and delivery of high-quality services. The Executive Director works with the Board of Directors to set the direction and goals for the organization, while leading and motivating a multidisciplinary team responsible for managing all aspects of the organization, including statewide program delivery, development, public relations, and administrative operations.
