OMSI Reptile and Amphibian Show Volunteers Needed

Volunteer with the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) this summer for the Reptile and Amphibian Show!

This Labor Day Weekend crawl, creep, and slither your way to one of the largest gatherings of reptiles and amphibians in the Pacific Northwest, when OMSI presents its annual Reptile and Amphibian Show! Over 100 exotic animals will be on display at this popular event, including a large variety of captive-bred snakes, lizards, turtles, alligators, and more.

The show will be held September 4th-6th (Saturday- Monday) and volunteers are needed in a variety of customer services roles! If you are interested in handling or showing a reptile, please visit http://www.omsi.edu/reptileshow for more information.

Three shifts are available for general customer service volunteers (September 4th - 6th):

Shift 1: 9:00-1:00pm Shift 2: 12:30pm-4:30pm Shift 3: 4:00pm-7:00pm

Volunteers (14 and older) are needed to help with customer service in and around the show areas. Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with the public, answering questions and using their best assertive customer service skills if needed (crowd control). Volunteers should also be prepared to be on their feet.

Interested? Contact Volunteer Coordinator Penny Beckwith directly at: 503-797-4596 or by email: [email protected] to sign up. Please email the day(s) and shift(s) that work best for you.

We hope to see you this summer!
