Intern Responsibilities

This fall, the Portland office will invite an intern to work with us to develop and implement social media outreach for our national tour of graduate school fairs, research the best online public service career resources available on the web, and help us re-launch our Idealist nonprofit careers portal.

Qualifications We’re looking for an intern who has:

  • Some knowledge of and experience with social networking
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Creativity, friendliness, frankness, and a sense of humor
  • Ability to work autonomously

The Fine Print

This is an unpaid internship in the Portland office for the fall term. U.S. citizens and non-citizens are both eligible to apply. The application deadline is flexible; we’ll pull down this posting when we have recruited our dream intern.
