Activists Needed to Protect Crater Lake

Environment Oregon is a state-based, citizen-funded advocacy group that works for a cleaner, greener, and healthier Oregon.

Crater Lake is the Oregon's "Crown Jewel." This beautiful crystal blue lake with 2,000 foot rim is Oregon's only national park, and is home to unique wildlife. Unfortunately, right now this habitat is under threat from clearcut logging. That's why Environment Oregon is seeking to federally protect a 75-mile wildlife corridor and 450,000 acres as Wilderness around Crater Lake.

We're looking for motivated volunteer activists to join us on this exciting campaign. You will work with staff to demonstrate Oregonians' strong support through specific campaign tactics such as petitioning and writing letters to the editor.
