The Auction Coordinator’s main responsibility is to oversee and manage all aspects of our annual fundraising auction including volunteer recruitment, budgeting, information management, and event programming.

The Gambol, Catlin Gabel’s annual auction event, is held every year in spring. The event includes an online, silent, and live auction and possible raffle. Gambol proceeds directly support professional development for our teachers and student financial aid.

This is a part-time position from Sept/October through May (flexible hours) with ability to work longer hours including some evenings and weekends during high intense time – specifically January through April.

Salary / Pay Rate:$15k - $20k

Required Skills and Abilities:•Outstanding event coordinator, auction fund-raising knowledge, organizational skills, and volunteer management required. •Word processing and database experience required. Auction database knowledge preferred. Adobe InDesign experience a plus. • Must be able to work independently and handle multiple high, medium, and low priority tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment while managing a lean budget. • Ability to work some evenings and weekends especially during high intense times. (Specifically January through April).
Qualifications:•Auction experience highly preferred and recommended. •Experience in event coordination required. •Experience in fund-raising strongly preferred. • Experience working with leadership volunteers strongly preferred. • Degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but a combination of education and experience may be accepted.
