Volunteer Coordinator Internship

The Freshwater Trust, a Portland-based environmental non-profit, is seeking a volunteer coordinator to serve as an intern from October 1st-December 12th. The Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Communications Director and work closely with the Development Project Manager to recruit 60 volunteers for the Holiday Half Marathon, a benefit race for The Freshwater Trust.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Comfortable actively reaching out to the community to recruit volunteers
Position details:
• Unpaid internship, but can provide college credit
• Hours negotiable, telecommute option available
