Catholic Community Services is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team! The PMHNP works in conjunction with our Child Psychiatrist providing psychiatric/medical direction and consultation, as well as direct psychiatric services, to clients of Family Preservation System. The PMHNP works in collaboration with program managers and clinical supervisors to ensure quality medical care of consumers and quality clinical consultation and training to staff. The PMHNP collaborates with community partners, colleagues, and families to provide family-centered, strengths-based, individualized and tailored care to consumers of CCS services.

Required Skills and Abilities:Minimum requirements: A. Licensed to practice as an ARNP in the State of Oregon with full prescriptive authority and DEA certificate in good standing. B. Two years experience working with children and families in an inpatient or outpatient clinical setting; strong knowledge of child, adolescent, and family development C. Demonstrated competence in assessment, diagnosis, medication evaluation and current, sound prescriptive practices for seriously disturbed children and adults D. Commitment to strengths-based, family-centered, individualized and tailored clinical approaches E. Ability to understand and work with multiple, client-serving systems, e.g. mental health, child welfare, education, juvenile justice/courts, public health, social services F. Commitment to working collaboratively with staff of diverse backgrounds, training, and levels of experience and to promoting teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment G. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and positively, both verbally and in writing H. Demonstrated commitment to preservation of a workplace which embraces diversity. I.
