Youth Progress Association's Soup Smackdown-October 7 (6-8pm)

Six chefs will faceoff at Portland’s downtown Hotel Lucia October 7th for the Youth Progress Association’s 2nd Annual Soup Smackdown hosted by Typhoon!. Chefs representing a wide variety of local eateries will create unique soups inspired by a YPA’s R.O.Y. (Recovering Oregon Youth) Project participant. R.O.Y. was designed to help lower-functioning youth gain valuable work experience and increase social skills while in a supportive, professional environment. You will have the opportunity to meet with the chefs and the clients, as well as taste their one-of-a-kind soups.
