Forward Stride is dedicated to improving lives through equine-assisted activities and therapies.
Description
Founded in 2003, Forward Stride is the largest therapeutic center of its kind in Oregon. Forward Stride’s programs and services enable individuals to develop in remarkable ways:
Our Hippotherapy Program offers people of all ages — including children as young as two — uniquely powerful therapeutic sessions on horseback with licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
Our Riding Program helps children and adults of all abilities — including those with special needs — develop horsemanship skills, fitness, and self-confidence.
Our Horses for Heroes Program offers military veterans opportunities to participate in therapeutic riding instruction with their peers — free of charge.
