Volunteer Coordinator at Sisters Of The Road

Sisters Of The Road, a Portland, OR nonprofit addressing the root causes of poverty and homelessness through systemic solutions, is seeking a part-time Volunteer Coordinator.

Position Description: Sisters Of The Road’s Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all volunteer trainings, guidance and support, and work done by Sisters’ volunteers is conducted in a manner consistent with Sister’s philosophies of nonviolence and gentle personalism, antioppressions, our community organizing model, and our systemic change approach. This position ensures that volunteer resources are available throughout our organization, including the cafe, administration, development, small and special events, and outreach initiatives.
