| position summary: | (24 Hours Per Week) Develop and oversee a senior volunteer program that supports the needs of partner agencies and the community; partner with local non-profits to develop volunteer opportunities; develop and oversee volunteer recruitment, selection, training and recognition activities; provide strong leadership, oversight and management of the RSVP program and staff and develop effective relationships with sites, community partners, the RSVP Advisory Council, and officials of the Corporation for National & Community Service. | Salary / Pay Rate: | $2220 per month to start |
| Required Skills and Abilities: | Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field and/or training and experience which demonstrates the ability to manage a complex government funded program and the ability to work with the senior population and effectively manage staff and services. The selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check, work evenings and/or weekends and increase hours as needed and possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a personal vehicle that meets state requirements for vehicle insurance. |
