TELESERVICES MANAGER

The Oregon Symphony seeks a key member of the Patron Services Team whose primary responsibility is to supervise an evening Teleservices Call Center. The Teleservices Manager is responsible for recruiting and training a staff of part time Symphony Customer Service Representatives and implementing strategies to achieve an annual Membership campaign of $600,000 as well as a subscription/ticketing campaign of $1,000,000.

Duties and Responsibilities • Supervision of 6-8 Symphony employees during 6 weekly shifts of 5 hours. • Recruitment, training, and monitoring the performance of these Customer Services Representatives. • Help develop and maintain an incentive bonus plan for callers. • With Membership Manager and Director of Patron Services, work to implement best call practices for Membership and subscription campaigns. • With Director of Patron Services, implement and monitor bonus incentive plan for callers. • Function as a member of the Development and Marketing teams for strategic planning and to provide sales data feedback.

Responsible for maintaining constituent records and financial data in compliance with privacy rules and regulations.

Qualifications Bachelors degree desirable and at least 2 years of relevant sales management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); strong communication skills; knowledge of or ability to quickly learn Tessitura database software (or strong computer skills), ability to set priorities and work within established timelines. And, importantly, we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Oregon Symphony and able to motivate others to support our organization. This is primarily an evening job, Monday thru Friday and will require some Saturday morning or evening work.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous benefits package.
