JESUIT VOLUNTEER CORPS (JVC) NORTHWEST recruits, places and supports full time Jesuit Volunteers who work at over 100 schools, social service, health, environmental and public agencies in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

JVC Northwest is hiring an Outreach Coordinator to begin in December, 2010. The full time salaried position based in Portland, OR, will build relationships with former Jesuit Volunteers and supporters through effective planning, programming and communications. In coordination with other staff, the Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a former Jesuit Volunteer outreach plan. An undergraduate degree is required, master’s degree preferred in marketing, public relations or related area. This position requires a thorough understanding and ability to use online marketing techniques. Former Jesuit Volunteer strongly preferred. The Outreach Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
