position summary:

Innovative Changes (IC$) was founded by Innovative Housing, Inc. (IHI) to assist low-income individuals and families, and those who otherwise lack adequate access to capital and/or financial services, manage short-term financial needs in order to achieve and maintain household stability. The part-time Program Coordinator will facilitate the ongoing implementation and expansion of IC$’s financial capability and loan program. IC$ combines access to affordable credit, financial education, and credit building opportunities to achieve its mission. This position is key to implementing IC$ programs and increasing its capacity to better serve clients, particularly those who are Spanish-speaking only, throughout Oregon.

Salary / Pay Rate:$14.50/hour
Required Skills and Abilities: Spanish fluency.  Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.  At least two years of direct teaching or facilitation experience (direct case management or one-on-one coaching/counseling experience may substitute for one year).  At least two years experience working directly with low-income families and/or individuals.  An independent, self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual with a commitment to IC$’s mission.  Works well in an environment of collaboration.  Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and personal vehicle required.
