Free one-on-one tech support for small non-profits.

The Support Group meets Tomorrow, Tuesday July 30th!
Ecotrust Building
721 NW 9th Ave
6:00pm to 8:00pm

The Support Group is a once a month gathering of technologists and small community minded organizations. Our goal is to provide much needed one-on-one advice and technical support to the small non-profit community. We can do everything from helping you set up a virtual server to walking you through removing a virus from your computer. If you need advice or assistance come to the Ecotrust building lobby between Laughing Planet and Hot Lips Pizza on the last Tuesday of every month for support.

If you’re a technologist* and you want to participate, all you have to do is show up with a hat. Technicians with hats (or just ‘hats’ for short) walk around and help people. If you’re a hat, make sure to tell Alex (straw hat) that you’re there so he can help make connections.

Finally, we’re here to teach you how to fish, not to give you a fish. As such, your technologist will never touch your computer. She might walk you through processes or tell you which screw to take out but you’ll have to get your hands (a little) wet.
