Sierra Club Job Announcement

Oregon Chapter Sierra Club is hiring a Chapter Director for its Portland, Oregon office. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to help direct one of Oregon's most effective environmental advocates. The Chapter Director will be responsible for managing staff working on priority grassroots campaigns, fundraising (including major donors and grant writing), developing and implementing a strategic plan and volunteer and member relations. Qualifications: Experience in grassroots organizing, training volunteers and/or coalition building; strong communication skills; experience with budgets and program planning; demonstrated success with fundraising; experience with staff management; knowledge and experience with the legislative process.
