Do you ever have questions about adoption? Do you know the current Oregon Law?

What: Understanding Infant Adoption is a nationally accredited training that is designed to help professionals working with pregnant women/teens (or women/teens who may become pregnant) discuss adoption as an option. This training provides education about, not advocacy for, the adoption option. Topics include adoption law and practice in Oregon, special issues in counseling teens, birthfather rights and responsibilities, and non-directive, noncoercive counseling techniques.

Training will be August 19th from 8:30am-4pm at Boys & Girls Aid (018 SW Boundary Court, Portland, OR 97239). Upcoming trainings are available in half day, full day, computer-based, and self study formats.
