Career Development & Training Opportunity for 18-24 year olds

Open Meadow’s Career Connections Program is a free career development program for Portland yong adults 18-24 looking to jumpstart their careers!

The 5-week training is as an introduction to workplace professionalism & a gateway to 3-years of advanced career development & college support with Open Meadow.

Career focus areas: public service/local government, banking, office/admin, & professional business (but we work with students who have a variety of career & education goals)

Fall training begins September 17th & applicants should call to schedule an interview no later than September 9th.

WHAT: During training students will...

·Build the skills you need to begin a professional career

·Identify the stregnths and abilities you have to offer & learn to market yourself

·Develop a career plan that suits you and receive intensive support from a career advisor

·Utilize our business partner network to connect to paid internships and jobs (we have extensive networks in the public service/local government, banking, and business industries)

·Receive transportation support, professional clothing, and a $$ incentive
