Lents Founder's Day Picnic

Join the Lents community for the 17th Annual Lents Founders Day Celebration on August 17, 2008 at Lents Park near SE 92nd and SE Holgate.   The Community Parade begins at 12 noon starting at the Wattles Boys and Girls Club and traveling north around Lents Park.  The parade kicks off the event.   FREE food provided by the New Cooper Penny after the parade. 

Experience the thrill of discovery at the hands-on “Pioneer Living Exhibit and Displays”. Music by the Providence Stage Band begins at 2pm, highlighting music from the “Grand Swing Era”.   Historic pictures, a free rock climbing wall, community information booths, and more.
