Program Coordinator - Donate Life Northwest

Full time. Responsibilities: • As a member of the program team, insure a trained volunteer corps that adequately supports program goals and needs • Maintain activities/materials and a current volunteer database, track volunteer hours, and create activity reports as needed • Plan, organize and implement volunteer recognition/appreciation • Evaluate and determine which program requests to fill; schedule appropriate volunteers and insure the timely delivery/arrival of support materials • Plan and implement specified outreach projects, e.g. National Donor Sabbath • Develop a strong working relationship with DMV field office managers/employees • Monitor and maintain program materials, including inventory, to insure responsible stewardship of these resources • Maintain volunteer and quilt sections of Donate Life Northwest website; oversee monthly volunteer e-news production • Oversee construction of annual Threads of Life quilt and scrapbook; plan and implement quilt unveilings • Serve as contact for contracted PR agency re: volunteers and stories • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Donate Life Northwest partner agencies • Serve as on-site volunteer coordinator at agency functions, e.g. golf tournament, Lifesaver Breakfast • Represent Donate Life Northwest at community and fundraising events as requested • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: College degree or equivalent experience. CVA certification a plus. Minimum 2 years non-profit programming/volunteer management experience. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong experience managing diverse groups of volunteers. Ability to perform and balance multiple tasks with a calm demeanor and superb attention to detail and follow-up. Embrace change. Strong creative planning and problem-solving skills. Equally comfortable working individually and as a leader/member of a team. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and a database software. Filemaker Pro a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus. Support Donate Life Northwest’s mission.

Other Requirements: Full Time. Hours may vary, including occasional evening and weekends, some out-of-town travel. Available and reliable car. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
