Bilingual Receptionist/Information and Referral Clerk

Description: Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) is the leading provider of HIV prevention, education, housing, advocacy and support services in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We are seeking an experienced Receptionist/I&R Clerk. This position reports to the Office Manager.

Job Functions Include: • General reception at the front desk • Answer multi-line phone system • Greet and direct clients and visitors • Maintain the appearance of the lobby • Accounts payable input • Purchase supplies • Other clerical duties supporting all departments

Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of reception, customer service or general clerical experience in a high-volume, service based organization required. • Bilingual (Spanish-English speaking) • Demonstrated computer and keyboard proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and working knowledge of the Internet. • Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, appreciation for ethnic, racial and sexual diversity, strong cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations. • Experience working in settings that require discretion and keeping information confidential.

Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in a social service agency preferred. • Web experience preferred.

Compensation: $24,100 to $25,600 annually, depending on experience; employer-paid health, dental, vision, long-term disability and life insurance; 401(k) retirement plan with generous employer matching contribution, 125C cafeteria savings plan; generous vacation, and health leave benefits.
