Get Your Clients Ready to Rent! Instructor Training Coming i September

Teach clients to overcome typical rental screening barriers with Ready To Rent!

The next Instructor Certification Training will be held September 23-24, 9:00am-4:00pm, and September 25, 9:00am-1:00pm. Training will be located at the Portland Housing Center, 3233 NE Sandy Blvd. Registration fee: $350 for agencies located in Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Clark counties. Fee includes all training materials and continental breakfast. Those located outside the Portland area please call the Ready to Rent national office at 503-891-0476 for fee information. Space is limited to first 25 people.

Ready to Rent is a tenant education curriculum that provides housing readiness skills to people who have had past rental difficulties such as bad credit, criminal history, or evictions. Participants establish an action plan for becoming a successful renter and upon completion receive a Ready to Rent Certificate which is recognized by many housing providers and landlords as a compensating factor to some negative rental history.
