Job Description:

The Bi-lingual Family Coach is part of a home visiting program that helps families work through every day challenges drawing on the strengths that they currently have to reach individual goals. The Bi-lingual Family Coach will teach behavioral skills to families by promoting the ability to reach goals that the families set for themselves. Skill sets needed include communication, anger management, conflict resolution, problem solving, goal setting, assertiveness, parenting, stress management, or other skills that fit the families’ needs. Skills must be taught at a level the family members can understand and that engages them in the learning process. The Bi-lingual Family Coach will also plan and coordinate lessons for each session.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree is required in a mental health or social services field. Candidates must have their own vehicle and valid driver’s license. Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends. Bi-Lingual (Eng/Span) required.
