After School Instructors

JOB SUMMARY: Whitman SUN School is looking for an individual to teach Theater and Choir Tuesdays and Thursday from 2:30-6:00pm October 7th through December 18th

LOCATION: Whitman Elementary School 7326 SE Flavel St Portland OR 97206

REQUIREMENTS: Ability to complete and pass an Oregon background check and fingerprinting Experience working with elementary students Create and implement curriculum for specific class. Ensure students are conducting activities in a safe and appropriate manner Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Experience working with school aged children and providing academic and recreational activities to students in after school environments Specific experience in particular area of expertise (art, music, sports, dance, tutoring, etc.) Desire and ability to work with children and ensure an enriching, positive, safe setting Ability to communicate with students, teachers, school administrators and parents
