CENTER MANAGER FOR SENIOR MEAL LUNCH PROGRAM FOR NON PROFIT AGENCY

 40 hrs/wk  Mon - Fri

General Responsibilities:  Responsible to manage the day-to-day operation of the Center, including the preparation and serving of Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining meals.  Provide access to services, programs and activities for senior participants.  Maintain a multi-culturally inclusive environment.  Supervise and develop volunteers and staff.  Manage and develop the operating and fundraising budget.  Oversee the maintenance of center property and equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

1)      Associate Degree or two years work experience or education in Human Resources, Psychology, Gerontology, Management, Social Work, Community Nutrition, or other related field. One year of experience in a management position.

2)      Ability to work in a team environment and work under own initiative with minimum supervision.

3)      Good public and community relations skills.  Ability to enhance community development.

4)      Experience with recruiting and managing volunteers.

5)      Good computer and organizational skills, with the ability to complete required reports accurately and timely.

6)      Experience in managing an operating budget and fundraising.

7)      Basic knowledge of food service procedures.

8)      Car available for job tasks.  

9)      Must pass drug and alcohol test and criminal background check.
