position summary:

1. Ensure that the program meets contracts requirements and accomplish goals and outcomes as defined in grants proposals. 2. Supervise administration of client assistance funds according to contract guidelines. 3. Collect and maintain statistics about the program and services. 4. Prepare and submit timely reports to contractors/funders. 5. Develop and maintain a relationship with state, county and private funders. 6. Maintain a collaborative relationship with other agencies in the community to raise levels of awareness pertaining to Latino domestic violence needs. 7. Develop and participate in implementation of educational presentations to the Latino community members, service providers, domestic violence agencies, and governmental organizations. 8. Develop and coordinate a strategy to take advantage of grant and fundraising opportunities for Domestic Violence 9. Hire and train new staff 10. Coordinate staff activities and services provided to clients. 11. Plan and facilitate Program staff meetings and regular individual meetings with staff. 12. Coordinate a permanent training plan for staff. 13. Supervise the performance of case managers/ advocates. 14. Periodically review case files. 15. Evaluate quality of services and develop improvement plans. 16. Maintain a collaborative relationship with El Programa Hispano staff and other Catholic Charities programs. 17. Represent agency in Community forums and advocacy efforts related to Domestic Violence 18. Supervise the Crisis Line Coordinator 19. Attend and participate in current collaborations and partnerships meetings. 20. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Program Manager at El Programa Hispano.

Salary / Pay Rate:$35,000 to $40,000 annual plus excellent benefits
Required Skills and Abilities: 1. Previous supervisory experience and project coordination experience is necessary. 2. Experience working with Latino women and their families who have experienced domestic violence. 3. Bilingual (writing and speaking fluency in both Spanish and English). 4. Bi-cultural or culturally competent 5. Good time management skills. 6. Ability to work creatively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment. 7. Detail oriented and organized. 8. Strong communicational and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to work well within a team environment. 10. Basic Computer skills. 11. Strong grant writing skills. 12. Experience doing presentations in English and Spanish.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Social work or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
