Volunteer for Candidates Gone Wild '08!

Election Day is coming up, which means the political event you've all been waiting for is just around the corner! It's Candidates Gone Wild - the zany, unique political event of the year, brought to you by the Oregon Bus Project and the Willamette Week.

Since 2002, Portlanders have looked forward to this irreverent approach to local candidates and campaigns. Host Storm Large will again preside over our latest political cage match. From start to finish, Candidates Gone Wild is a volunteer run effort (often powered by beer), and you're needed to help the show run smoothly.

Candidates Gone Wild Monday, October 13th, doors at 7 PM Roseland Theater

We'll need about 50 volunteers to pitch in the night of the event and for the dress rehearsal on October 12th.

We need:

• Ticket sellers • Ticket takers and hand stampers • Backstage managers • Volunteer sign-up • Crowd control • Voter registration • Clean up • Talk to people in line

If you are interested in volunteering, please email Annie at [email protected] to let her know if you will be at the volunteer training on Wednesday, October 8 at 7pm or Thursday, October 9 at 7pm. Both here at Bus Central. Then check out some of these videos from past shows:
