Fair Trade Palestinian Olive Oil Tasting and Peace Presentation

People's Coop, in celebration of Fair Trade Month, is hosting The American Friends Service Committee's middle east program director, Wafa Shami on October 11 from 4-6pm.

The gathering consists of tastings of Zatoun Palestinian Fair Trade olive oil, along with a presentation about the plight of the olive farmers as they struggle for land rights.

Tasty treats and light refreshments will be served along with the opportunity to purchase bottles of the oil and hand made olive oil based soap.
