Buddhas by Bikes, a tour of SE Portland Buddhist Sites and Centers

Join us for another round of Buddhas by Bikes, an easygoing bike tour of 10 or so Buddhist sites and centers, mostly in the Buckman-Sunnyside and surrounding areas. We'll meet at Dharma Rain Zen Center for a brief introduction, talk, and meditation at 1pm, then head out to see several sites and visit several centers. Come explore and learn about the different varieties of Buddhism and Buddhist Practice, all within a few miles of one another.

The bulk of the stops will be very close to one another, with the final stops being increasingly further out. We'll end with an optional stop to a vegetarian, Buddhist, non-profit restaurant. Time frames will depend on attendance, but expect 4-5 hours until the end.

Free to all, but bring $$ for the centers' begging bowls and for dinner. Bring your own bike, safety equipment (lights!) and weather appropriate gear.
