Volunteer at the Goose Hollow Family Shelter

On Saturday, October 18th we will be cleaning and organizing our shelter in preparation for our November 1st reopening. Join us from 8:00 am to noon for a morning of meaningful work with caring people.   Also, for those interested in volunteering at the shelter once we re-open in November, there will be two volunteer trainings in October: on the 14th and the 22nd from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

We are located in the First United Methodist Church at 1838 SW Jefferson Ave.   The mission of the Goose Hollow Family Shelter is to provide a temporary safe haven for homeless families, access to transitional services, and advocacy for social change that eliminates homelessness.
