Social media marketing for non-techies, Tuesday, 10/21

"Marketing with social media (for non-techies): To blog or not to blog?"

Semiosis Communications and CubeSpace are proud to present the first in a series of workshops on how to make the best of web 2.0 in your organization's marketing. Social media allows nonprofits and businesses to target the narrowest of niches. Building an online presence, connecting and interacting with stakeholders, contributing content and sharing expertise is now easier than ever. Consistent participation and relevance will unlock your organization's potential to cultivate online communities devoted to your brand. The workshop will offer practical information, tips, and examples about social media, focusing on blogs. Do you and your organization need one? What should you write about? How do you build it and will they come?

Time: Tuesday, October 21, 3:30 - 5 pm

Location: CubeSpace, 622 SE Grand, Portland

Please RSVP to info[at]semiosiscommunications[dot]com.

Presenter: Peter Korchnak, Semiosis Communications, a company that designs and implements holistic and sustainable marketing solutions that empower socially responsible organizations, including nonprofits, to differentiate themselves and cultivate community support.
