"It was by far the most I have ever learned in such a short amount of time. I would not want to go through life not being able to experience this."—Savanah

Come celebrate Portland's newest group of globally aware local leaders: 17 students from 5 Portland high schools who have completed Pangaea's 9-month leadership development program.

Hear tales of their amazing journeys that took them all over the city of Portland, into the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, and to the rice paddies of Thailand, where they learned about local and global social justice issues by meeting with inspiring grassroots leaders and engaging in community service projects.

In addition to hearing the students and Mayor-elect Sam Adams speak, please join us for an exciting silent and oral auction, a Thai feast and live music provided by Brazilian bossanova band, Sambafeat. Sliding scale $20-50.

Tempting auction items this year include:  ~ A 3-night stay in a luxury home in Sisters  ~Romantic Portland Staycation  ~Wellness and spa packages  ~A brand new Les-Paul style electric guitar, and more!! **

Student presentations will begin promptly at 7pm!**
