Boomer Books-To-Action Discussion Group

Agency: Hands On Greater Portland

Description: The Boomer Initiatives at Hands On Greater Portland and the Multnomah County Library, in partnership with Life by Design NW, are co-sponsoring this book discussion about living longer with vitality and passion. As inspirational preparation for the National Positive Aging Conference, we are highlighting one of the authors, Dan Buettner, who will be presenting at the conference on Unlocking the Secrets of Longevity. Join us in reading and discussing his book, The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who Live the Longest.

We will come together on November 2nd from 1:30 to 3:00 pm to discuss the book as it relates to our personal lives and our community. We will also talk about our volunteer needs for the National Conference on Positive Aging on November 12th. You can sign-up then to volunteer at this leading-edge conference!
