Trick or Vote with the Bus Project!

Get out the Vote, monster style.

Candy. Costumes. Democracy. Dance Party. Trick or Vote.

Do you know what you're doing for Halloween? Felt that energy around? That buzzing? Thus starts the final countdown to election season -- and it's time to get involved! Sign up now! www.trickorvote.org

What's the one day of the year that we, culturally, expect a knock on the door? Halloween! When does this holiday occur? A mere 4 days before ballots are due. Costumed volunteers will do Halloween a bit differently this year—knocking for democracy instead of candy. While ghouls and goblins roam the streets, volunteers in 21 cities and 12 states will distribute voter guides and vote reminders in what will be the nation's largest non-partisan get-out-the-vote canvass. www.trickorvote.org Come help remind Portland voters to turn in their ballots and have fun doing it! Join hundreds of other youth as we "Trick or Vote" for Democracy. Dress up in costume, pick a canvass time, rally your friends (or show up solo). Bus Project folks will be waiting to pair you with like-minded monsters and provide you with all you need to go door-knocking in style.

Trick or Vote is here! Friday, October 31 Audio Cinema, 226 SE Madison (map) 2 canvasses! 3:30 & 5:30pm Party! 8:00pm After the massive canvass we'll gather again at Audio Cinema for the Ghouls and Goblins Gala, a Halloween bash of epic proportions, featuring great local bands Blue Giant and Blind Pilot with a late night dance set by DJ Beyonda -- and it's free for volunteers! More info at www.trickorvote.org (ps, portlanders -- this tradition started right here in your town and this year is happening in cities across the nation. Come witness, first hand, the mothership of all Trick or Votes.)-- Melissa ChapmanOrganizer, www.busproject.orgo| 503.233.3018c| 770.843.0762
