position summary:

Part-time (30 hrs/wk) Business Analyst open for Morrison's Technology Operations department. Position implements complex process change and projects throughout the organization. Projects are primarily focused around technology-related change requiring new or modified processes. Position is the liaison between the organizations business departments/programs and Technology Operations. In addition, position often provides senior management with key decision-making criteria and information. The Business Analyst ensures implementations meet business needs, technical requirements are identified, and that related processes or departments which may be impacted are properly represented throughout the change process. This position is also responsible for the overall Change Management process and re-engineering critical processes in order to fit within new solutions. Primary roles are project management, change management/data quality and decision support.

Required Skills and Abilities:- Demonstrated ability in managing a team of people that are not direct reports. - Demonstrated skill of effectively working with individuals from all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and written, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and negotiation skills. - Demonstrated skill in change management, meeting management and tactical planning skills. - Ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated skill of SQL database products. - Demonstrated skill of using Microsoft Project and Visio. - Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies and problem solving. - Demonstrated success in leading and managing people in a team-based environment. - Ability to be customer focused. - Demonstrated presentation skills. - Knowledge of a clinical/medical environment. - Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence. - Values working in a multicultural/diverse work environment. - Ability to communicate effectively with a broad variety of people, including staff and supervisors. - Openness to feedback and supervision. - Ability to regularly attend and be punctual for scheduled work commitments and meetings and be in a condition suitable for assuming responsibilities of position. - Manual and physical dexterity allowing for copying, typing, filing, writing, phone use, computer use, etc.
Qualifications:1. 3-5 years experience in a business analyst/project management role in a complex business and systems environment. 2. Experience creating, coordinating and managing intricate projects to include: clear objectives, scope documents, milestones, schedules, ongoing communications (publishing updates, meeting minutes, change documents, etc.), training plans and a process for issue resolution. 3. Experience using strong customer interface skills to work with clinical staff in defining requirements and implementing major workflow changes through a diverse organization. Clinical system project management experience is a plus.
