This event is a call to action with leaders, both young and old reminding us of this year’s World AIDS Day theme: Take the Lead and Keep the Promise in order to continue to fight this epidemic.

After Portland’s recent city delegation visited our Sister City, Mutare Zimbabwe in October of this year, we are moved to remember one of the prior World AIDS Day themes from 1996: One World: One Hope.  It remains crucial for us to remember that our actions remain important both locally and globally.

Come here a new local inspirational leader: Michael Kaplan, the new Executive Director of Cascade AIDS Project. FREE at 4pm.

Come hear Mayor Tom Potter, his wife Karin Hansen and local students and budding leaders talk about their experiences in Zimbabwe. Benefit Cost $25.00.

Come join as our local community remembers, celebrates and reinvigorates!

Thank you Portland area community for all your support.

We hope to see you all there!
