Help Spread Holiday Cheer for CAT

Meow! We are excited to announce that the Cat Adoption Team will have the opportunity to spread some holiday cheer to the PetSmart stores all through the month of December for the annual Santa Claws event. This popular event gives PetSmart customers and their pets the chance to pose for a photo with "Santa Claws." For every "Santa Claws" photo package purchased during a CAT shift, PetSmart donates $5 directly to CAT. This is a great opportunity for us to bring in some much-needed funds for CAT this holiday season! We need volunteers to staff the event every weekend in December leading up to the Christmas holiday.

CAT's mission is to work with our community to save the lives of homeless, sick and injured cats and kittens by offering shelter, adoption, foster, hospice, and veterinary services to end needless feline euthanasia in our community.

There are four positions per shift this year. They are:

Santa, Santa's Helper, Photographer (with digital camera), and Printer Assistant (for digital prints)

The store schedules are: Cascade Station: Dec 13-14, 20-21 Clackamas: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 Hillsboro: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 Tanasbourne: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 Tigard: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 Tualatin: Dec. 6, 13, 20-21 Washington Square: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21 Wilsonville: Dec. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21

The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, feline-only shelter with its own full service veterinary hospital on site. CAT’s mission is to work with the community to save the lives of homeless, sick, and injured cats and kittens by offering shelter, adoption, foster, hospice, spay/neuter, and veterinary services to end needless feline euthanasia. CAT will find homes for over 3,200 felines this year. As a 501(c)(3) publicly-supported charity, CAT relies on the generous support of the public and volunteers.
