Hope everyone is staying healthy and warm this holiday season.  We will be offering two intensive full-weekend workshops in Winter and Spring of 2009, so save those dates!  Both workshops will help train participants and help raise funds for ongoing TheaterChange projects. May 16-17, 2009:  TheaterChange Spring Intensive:  Forum Theater Workshop

Winter Intensive Image and Forum Theater Weekend February 21-22, 2009 10:00-6:00 525 SE Stark, Portland Oregon Learn interactive theater as a tool for making positive change in the world.  Participants will learn techniques of interactive theater developed by Brazilian activist Augusto Boal, including community and trust building games, image-based dialogue, and interactive community forum. The workshop focus will be to raise awareness of social justice issues in the lives of participants, explore questions of power and privilege, and move towards more effective action. Participants will have the opportunity to explore collectively how this work can be used to empower their communities.
