SCRAP - Join the team! New Volunteer Orienation Jan. 4, 10am.

SCRAP--The School and Community Reuse Action Project--is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and our mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.

New Volunteer Orientation: Sunday, January 4th, 10-11am.

Come be part of the SCRAP volunteer crew where we love to have fun while making an impact.

We'll soon be moving into a larger space and need to double our volunteer team. Each volunteer spends approx. 3 hours per week working in a variety of areas that fit their interests. We compensate with store credit, so each hour you volunteer equals one dollar in the store!

Here's an idea of what our volunteers do: Sort through donations (perfect for treasure hunters). Put donations out into the store, organize & merchandise materials for sale. Help customers problem solve creative projects. Sweep, clean, break down cardboard boxes. Assist with creative workshops. Participate in community outreach. Conduct research and data entry projects. Make creative samples & displays for the store.

and much more!

Come to the orientation to get on board! Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
