History of Oaks Bottom & Portland Memorial Mural Project

OASIS, a nonprofit education center, presents Mike Houck of the Urban Greenspaces Institute as he describes the history of 16-acre Oaks Bottom, Portland's first official urban wildlife refuge. Images of the many species of birds and other wildlife living in Oaks Bottom will be shown. Images of the nation's largest building mural being completed by ArtFX and the Urban Greenspaces Institute on Portland Memorial Mausoleum are shown and the story behind its creation is told.
