Alcohol & Drug Counselor/Recovery Coordinator

This is a full time position made up of two half time positions funded through two CSAT grants providing services to homeless youth in Portland. The population to be served is between the ages of 16-24. The position works closely with Outside In and other homeless youth agencies to provide addiction treatment and follow up. Treatment services will be provided in locations convenient to the population. Recovery coordination services include outreach, support, tracking and data entry as well as coordination with other agencies that are part of the system of care addressing the alcohol and drug issues and needs of homeless youth. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and will work with the Project Coordinators to develop systems for tracking participant information and services. The position requires a CADC I and 2 years experience in A&D assessment, individual and group counseling, service coordination, and adolescent substance abuse and mental health issues.

All positions at De Paul require 2+ years’ continuous sobriety, if recovering.
