DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) Northwest recruits, places and supports full time Jesuit Volunteers who work at over 70 schools, social service, health, environmental and public agencies in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. JVC Northwest seeks an energetic and experienced Director of Development to lead its development program.

The ideal candidate will have: • Background and proven success in development work; • Previous management and supervisory experience; • Experience and success in solicitation of major gifts; • Success in writing and obtaining grant monies; • Excellent writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication skills; • A record of meeting deadlines; • Self-motivation; ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities; and creativity; • Bachelors degree required.
