PYB is recruiting for a full-time Construction Trainer

Portland YouthBuilders (PYB) is recruiting for a full-time Construction Trainer/Site Supervisor. Please help us get the word out!  

PYB is a non-profit vocational alternative high school and a residential general contractor, seeking a qualified Construction Trainer/Site Supervisor. This staff member will supervise and instruct crews of students in the new construction and remodeling of affordable housing. Students are culturally diverse, low income young adults aged 17-24 years. This state certified pre-apprenticeship program integrates academic education with hands-on construction training on actual construction sites providing a rich, disciplined and transformative environment. The Construction Trainer/Site Supervisor is responsible for daily oversight, organization, and quality control of worked performed on assigned housing projects. The Construction Trainer/Site Supervisor works in partnership with other trainers to plan daily crew assignments and with the Construction Manager and Construction Coordinator to plan project schedules, materials take-offs and deliveries.
