This position will oversee the Visions Program of Youth Progress. The Visions Program is a proctor day treatment program working with male youth 13-22. Our youth are victims of abuse/neglect, lower functioning, struggle with mental health issues, have been in multiple failed placements, or have spend time in the child welfare or juvenile justice system. This position will provide supervision to a staff 10.

The Director of Day Treatment Services is responsible for all necessary paperwork and record keeping for the proper operations of Day Treatment Program including the Proctor Program.
The Director of Day Treatment Services may eventually have the opportunity to have a small case load of clients to whom they will provide individual and family therapy.

This role is the key coordinator of the supervision and development of program policies.

Salary / Pay Rate:$37,000 - 41,000

Required Skills and Abilities:The Director of Day Treatment Services role is the leader of the Day Treatment Team, including Case Managers, Life Skills Trainers, and Proctor Program staff . Communication, the ability to motivate, and leadership skills are all key in this position. This Director will be the thread that binds the Day Treatment team to the bigger picture of Youth Progress. Through accountability and creativity, this Director will take the Day Treatment team to a level that is a National model.
Qualifications:Minimum requirements are a Masters Degree in social services or education, knowledge of special populations such as youth with borderline IQ and autism. Three years of experience in management and/or supervision also expected. Experience in residential or day treatment culture is also helpful.
