TrackersNW

The day after Thanksgiving (Nov 28) we're going to push through the looking glass of Portland proper. With a series of awareness puzzles we peel back the urban gloss to find the crazy underworld of Urban Tracking.

So consider joining us for the Holidays festivities. And catch the new article about us in the Portland Tribune. Eric Bartels, the reporter, did phenomenal job. He told it far better than we could. Beyond the attention it gives Trackers, we believe that quality of "getting us" is what truly counts.

Help Fight Fistula! Monday Nov. 24th @ 3PM

What is fistula? Obstetric fistula is a hole between a woman's birth passage and her internal organs. This hole develops over days of obstructed labor. The pressure of the baby's head against the mother's pelvis cuts off circulation to tissues and the dead tissue falls away. The woman is left with a hole between her vagina and her bladder and sometimes between her vagina and rectum. This hole results in permanent incontinence of urine and/ or feces.

A majority of women who develop fistulas are abandoned by their husbands and ostracized by their communities because of their inability to have children and their foul smell.

Nonprofit News

Free Panasonic Cordless Phone System

We would like to give our Panasonic 2.4 GHz Multi-Handset Cordless Phone System with auto-attendant answering away to another not-for-profit. It is perfect for a small organization. It comes with 1 KX-TG2000B base unit w/ charger and new battery, 3 KX-TGA200B handsets w/ chargers, and the operational instruction manual. We just want to pass it along to an organization that can use it. It works fine, we are giving it away because we recently bought a newer model.

If interested please contact: Heidi Haberbush, Program Coordinator, National Charrette Institute 503-233-8486 ext. 3# or email at [email protected]
