Do you love someone with a mental illness? Would you like to understand more about mental illness?

Then NAMI Oregon’s Family to Family class is for you.

NAMI's Family to Family is a 12-week course for family members of adult individuals with severe mental illnesses.

• The course is taught by trained family members

• FREE -- All instruction and course materials are at no cost to class participants

A new Family to Family class is being held at the Portland VA Hospital, starting Tuesday nights, February 3rd from 6:30-9:00pm. We are accepting new students until February 17th. The class is free. To enroll, please contact Shannon Pullen at [email protected] or 503-348-0979.

JANUS YOUTH PROGRAMS, INC. has the following positions available. Janus is a nonprofit agency providing community-based services, including residential and shelter care, to youth referred by OYA and/or DHS, as well as homeless and street-dependent  youth. We operate facilities in Oregon and in SW Washington. We are an agency that values diversity and values the contributions made by our staff in helping the youth we serve.  All positions involve working together with strong, supportive teams to support and make a difference in a young person’s life.

Membership and Administrative Associate

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Membership and Administrative Associate will coordinate all aspects of Xerces Society membership, including direct mail, membership renewals, annual fund-raising appeals, membership database management, and merchandise sales. The associate will also perform day-to-day office management duties and provide staff support. This person must be a dynamic multi-tasker, able to juggle many projects and deadlines and complete them all with grace and a sense of humor.
