Fall Workshops at The ReBuilding Center

The ReBuilding Center’s Workshops explore new possibilities for used building materials. During each workshop, community craft and tradespersons teach hands on skills to empower students to create their own reuse projects.

Sculpture from Reclaimed Materials

This three day workshop will explore the basics of common building techniques as a means to create sculptural art. Students will observe brief demonstrations in a variety of construction methods and will use these techniques to create a number of small sculptural studies. Students will leave this class with a better understanding of their built environment and a new perspective on the artistic potential of common building materials.

Tuition: $85
