Home Cleanser Workshops This Week!

Create Plenty is announcing our new classes to usher in the era in which we Create Plenty! To begin, every 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon you will have the opportunity to come and make your own shampoos, deodorants, powders, toothpastes, and home cleansers all in the comfort of your own town (and in a quite central location!).

June 1, 6-8 pm: Cleaning Politely (creamy scrub, laundry detergent + more replacements for the rude toxic ones now on store shelves!) June 5, 1-3 pm: Cleaning Politely, 1-3 pm June 15, 6-8 pm: Pits 'N' Pearly Whites (toothpaste and deodorants - solid + liquid) June 19, 1-3 pm: Pits N Pearly Whites June 25: Volunteer Orientation, Meet 'n' Greet

Saturday! Wacky and Wonderful Benefit Yard Sale!

Retro Costumes, great hats, wild, weird, and wacky props, large size women's dresses, shoes! CDs! books! a portable stage! A freezer vending cart for your summer employment, treasures, useful stuff, decorations from tiki to Xmas, some furniture, a guitar, all to benefit the artists and staff of BroadArts Theatre, a 501 (c)(3) not for profit touring live theatre company. Put your yard sale dollars to good use and support your favorite 'bad girls of comedy' BroadArts Theatre!!

NE 50th Ave between Tillamook and Hancock, just 1 1/2 blocks south of Sandy Blvd in the Hollywood District. Saturday, June 5 from noon to 4pm

Café au Play and Tabor Commons' grand opening community celebration!

Join us for Café au Play and Tabor Commons' grand opening community celebration!  A day of games, musical performances (including Mo Philips and Mr. Ben), BJ the Clown, a variety of ethnic foods for purchase, a bike parade, and much, much more.  Something for everyone!  This is a chance to see what's been brewing at Café au Play and celebrate with our community-- and for us to give thanks to our donors and volunteers in a special appreciation ceremony.  Admission is free.  Please bring a food item to donate to the Oregon Food Bank.
